My focus is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for one to share their thoughts and feelings. In return, I provide empathy, practical tools and clinical feedback. I offer a holistic approach as I truly believe in the well being of the mind, body and Spirit within all of us. Practicing self care while learning how to implement evidence based therapeutic tools and techniques in ones life is possible. Transforming to one's authentic self is possible once the healing process begins...

I provide telehealth to individuals struggling with trauma, difficult life transitions, work related stressors, chronic illnesses, relationship issues, stress, anxiety, depression, grief and despair.

I utilize evidence -based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strength based, Person centered, and Interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT). Christian counseling is also incorporated in therapy per request.
ABOUT ME
In addition to my practice, I have worked in the fast-paced hospital setting as a Medical Social Worker for 20 years. Honing in and assessing the needs of patients who are often in crisis, dealing with chronic or terminal illnesses and diagnoses, grief, homelessness, financial issues and death are many issues I assist with to name a few. I also assist patients in navigating the often time complex issues within the health system.
ACCEPTED INSURANCES/THERAPY RATE/OPTIONS
Therapy sessions for individuals are 60 minutes in length via a HIPPA compliant video platform called Simplepractice. My fee is $200 per session, and I'm willing to provide a sliding scale if needed. A Good Faith Estimate is required and provided to all private pay clients.
I also accept United Healthcare/Optum, Lyra Health, Loveland Foundation Vouchers, Oxford and Claremont EAP insurances.
I am also a contracted Provider under the Grow Therapy online video platform where I accept Aetna and Kaiser insurance. Please call 1-786-755-1863 to use your Kaiser insurance and receive an authorization.
